Terms of Service

Last updated: 19 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Iterance ("we") for using Iterance at app.useiterance.com, this website and the Iterance browser extension. By creating an account you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

1. Your account

2. The service

Iterance is in beta, so features will change, and some may be added or removed. We work to keep it available but can't promise it will always be, or that it will be free of errors.

3. What you save

4. What the AI makes

Questions, answers, notes and grades are made by AI and can be wrong or incomplete. Check anything that matters. They aren't professional, medical, legal or financial advice. You can edit or discard any question.

5. Credits

6. Shared maps

Anyone with a map's share link can see its concepts and your first name, plus your progress if you choose to show it. When someone takes it, you see their first name and how many concepts they showed. Share links only with people you want to see them, and stop sharing at any time to turn the link off.

7. Using Iterance fairly

Don't:

8. The browser extension

The extension only reads the address and title of the tab you're on when you click it, and nothing is saved until you confirm in Iterance. It's covered by these terms.

9. Ending

You can delete your account at any time in Settings, which deletes your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, and we'll tell you why unless the law stops us.

10. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit. Your legal rights as a consumer are unaffected. Otherwise, we aren't responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, or for business losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of US$100 and what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update the date above and tell you in the app or by email before an important change takes effect. If you don't agree, you can delete your account.

12. Law

You keep any consumer rights the law where you live gives you, and you can bring a claim in your local courts if that law allows it.
